mr Brown.

Check out his latest article, here.

I thought the style was mildly amusing.

Eh?

The Brudder is suited for Engineering
The Boon should be an English Major (but is currently doing the Math Thing).
Des should be a journalist but instead read Math (and Music).
I am allegedly suited for math but read engineering.

Therefore the quiz is flawed and inaccurate and the Deathstar company is about to mis-spend 300k buckaroos on the Brudder. Oops.

Ah well.

Ache

Played badminton with the small group yesterday late afternoon. Rusty in particular, and unfit in general. Not that there was much badminton technique to start with. All those racquet sports with different ball-hand distance: how you adapt from one to another? hmmph.

So after the session yesterday, i was like "everything that moved today will ache tomorrow". And so it is.

Ouch.

Quote of the Day

"I'll take a nap.. Then doze a while, and top it all off with a nice snooze..

For a well-balanced rest, you must have something from the three basic sleep groups each day."

Criss-Cross

Considering that Brudder works in the East (Changi) and I work in the West (Gombak), and that we stay in the West, 2006 has started with a lot of travelling.

Tuesday:
I travel from Gombak to Changi for an event recce.
Brudder travels from Changi to Gombak for dispatch.

Wednesday:
I travel from Gombak to Changi for said event recce.
Brudder travels from Changi to Gombak for stores purchase - then back to Changi.

Thursday:
I travel from home (West) to Changi for said event and back.
Brudder travels from home to Changi to go for exercise at PLC, then back to Changi to come home.

Friday:
See Thursday. Yes, it happened again.

You can almost see our paths criss-crossing Singapore.

In other news: Monday Off! Four-Day Weekend!

Substantial (lack of) post(s)

I know it's been a long time since i've posted anything substantial. Thing is, i've been too busy working for the gahmen to have any energy to post anything other than rambling thoughts.

For example - trying to work for the gahmen during december is a headache - the whole world (and their dog) is on leave at some point in december, therefore any meeting you attempt to call will be under-represented and quite possibly mis-represented, so you're better off not trying in the first place. However, your boss will do nasty things to you if you don't get your work done.

Oops.
